  Happy Monday, August 25 with new event details.  It's now just 2 weeks from this next Saturday for our opening event of Fall listed below. Please register for our planning and be there to have a great day and help us know how many are coming.  You don't have to be a paid member to register and you can join/renew online or at the pot luck with cash, check or plastic if we have connection there that day.  Some days yes, some no?

  We're now also very pleased to announce that along with all the other fun and food we'll get an update presentation mid afternoon on the City's Rock Creek Restoration and Water Quality Improvement Project by the primary consultants on the project.  More on that & timing details for the day, when we'll get there setting up and other info will be added here this week as we "get-it-together"?? -(I'm still trying to find the horseshoes in my garage??)!! 

  I'm already getting the goodies together for a big batch of Jambalaya and most likely a pot of my ranch beans and  brats too!! Bring lots and especially your apatite for fine food and friendly fly fishers fun.  

  Saturday September 13, Potluck & Fall 2025 Season Opening fun day get together at Noah Oliver Pavilion in the Rock Creek RV Park. We have used this site in the past as it has electricity, lots of seating, parking, fishing in the creek, horse shoes and space and we have the pavilion all day.  Arrival times, what to bring and activities planned will come together and be updated here well in advance.  This was a longtime tradition for the club that we want to restart for 2025 and beyond.   MVFF TUESDAY OCTOBER 14 GENERAL MEETING

  In the short time I've known Mark Sindell, his discussions on the fish catching flies he ties for Silver and Big Wood have stoked my desire to hear and learn more from him as soon as possible.

  Oct. 14, 5-8 pm is the time at the Barn.

  This will be another evening not to miss as we hear and learn new tips, tactics, flies and foolin' fish on the Big Wood, Silver Creek and possibly some other close by fine fishing spots from a fly fanatic's experiences living in Belview and fishing here extensively.  His official office is in Boise, but he chooses to live on the waters he loves best.  He also travels and works in all adjoining states and beyond, allowing his fly fishing adventures to abound!!
